Curated by Es-K and Vitamin D, the single aims to expose a quartet of worthy producers from the Land of the Rising Sun to turntables worldwide. EN Tokyo’s Pigeondust launches the wax with his smooth and sexy “Bboy Blue,” filled with glistening keys and guitar chops over intricate rhythms. The lilting “Inheritance” comes next via Utsunomiya’s Axion117 (Collective Resonance), easing the listener into a quiet storm mentality. The mesmerizing vibes continue as Tokyo-based beat-slinger Bugseed drops the dreamy “Mindless” straight to the platter.
